Description

Delight in these luscious Strawberry Cream Chocolates, combining creamy strawberry frosting with rich white and dark chocolate layers. Perfect for a sweet treat, these bite-sized chocolates feature a strawberry-infused white chocolate center coated in smooth dark or milk chocolate, offering an irresistible blend of fruity and creamy flavors.

Ingredients

For the Strawberry Cream Filling

  • 1 16 oz can of strawberry frosting
  • 1 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 1 12 oz bag of dipping dark or milk chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Lightly spray a 9x9 inch pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper, leaving extra paper hanging over the edges for easy removal later.
  2. Melt White Chocolate & Mix Filling: Using a double boiler or microwave, gently melt the white chocolate chips until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry frosting until fully combined.
  3. Set the Filling: Spread the strawberry-white chocolate mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to let it set firmly.
  4. Cut Filling Into Squares: Once chilled, lift the set filling out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into one-inch squares to form the centers of the chocolates.
  5. Melt Chocolate Coating: Melt the dipping dark or milk chocolate in a double boiler until smooth and fluid.
  6. Dip and Coat: Using a fork, dip each strawberry cream square into the melted chocolate, tapping off any excess chocolate on the edge of the bowl to ensure an even coating.
  7. Set Coated Chocolates: Place the coated chocolates on a parchment-lined sheet pan and allow them to set at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor and smooth texture.
  • If the chocolate thickens while dipping, gently rewarm it to maintain a good coating consistency.
  • For a firmer bite, refrigerate the chocolates after coating until fully set.
  • Ensure the filling is completely chilled before cutting to prevent crumbling.
  • Store finished chocolates in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
