Description

This Easy Kielbasa, Pierogi, and Brussels Sprouts Sheet Pan Dinner is a simple and delicious one-pan meal perfect for busy weeknights. Featuring savory kielbasa sausage, crispy roasted Brussels sprouts, and tender pierogies, all seasoned with garlic and black pepper, this recipe combines hearty flavors with minimal prep and cleanup.

Ingredients

Meat and Produce

  • 16 ounces kielbasa
  • 16 ounces Brussels sprouts

Frozen

  • 16 ounces frozen pierogies

Seasonings and Oil

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (or other neutral cooking oil)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for roasting the ingredients evenly.
  2. Prepare Kielbasa: Cut the kielbasa into 1-inch thick chunks to ensure they cook thoroughly and mingle well with other ingredients.
  3. Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Clean the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends, then slice each in half for faster roasting and better caramelization.
  4. Season and Toss: In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts and frozen pierogies. Add vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss everything evenly to coat the vegetables and pierogies well.
  5. Arrange on Sheet Pan: Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts and pierogies evenly on a sheet pan. Add the kielbasa chunks on top or around the vegetables for roasting.
  6. First Bake: Bake the sheet pan in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to begin roasting and developing flavors.
  7. Stir and Flip: After 15 minutes, stir the Brussels sprouts and kielbasa to ensure even cooking. Flip the pierogies over to crisp up the other side.
  8. Second Bake: Return the sheet pan to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly caramelized, pierogies are crispy, and kielbasa is heated through.
  9. Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and serve the sausage, vegetables, and pierogies hot for a comforting and easy meal.

Notes

  • Use vegetable oil or any neutral oil such as canola or avocado oil for best results in roasting.
  • Feel free to swap frozen pierogies for fresh or different flavors to customize the dish.
  • Make sure to flip pierogies midway to achieve a crispy texture on both sides.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle with fresh herbs like parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
